Bill Ross is a Business Development Consultant to Crook Publicity.
Bill has a wealth of contacts and connections throughout the world as generated from his previous business and sporting pursuits. Bill formerly was Managing Director of Queensland's largest locally owned general Auction and Valuation business, Strophairs. More recently he was CEO of the international safety company Standfast.
He has a strong knowledge of financial, management, sales and marketing and communication matters. Significantly, he has proven he can access the target market and influence the decision makers.
Bill represented Australia in rugby union from 1978 to 1983 and also Queensland from 1976 to 1983. He obtained a Blue for Rugby from Oxford University in 1980. He has previously been the Manager of the Queensland Reds (1996–98) and also a Reds selector (2003–05).
He is a committee member of both the Classic Wallabies and the Vintage Reds as well as an Honorary Ambassador for The Spinal Injuries Association. In these capacities he has assisted in the organisation of many charity events which have raised in excess of $400,000 in recent years.
