Steve Connolly is a Senior Consultant at Crook Publicity with a broad range of clients including major Australian companies in the mining, travel, finance, property, technology and agricultural sectors.

Steve joined Crook Publicity after more than two decades working as a senior journalist with Australian Associated Press and The Sunday Mail newspaper in Brisbane.

He has had a diverse media career, which includes covering the 1992 Barcelona and 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 1994 Victoria and 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, a two year stint as the London-based chief European correspondent for AAP and extensive Canberra Press Gallery experience. Steve was the Queensland bureau chief for AAP before working at The Sunday Mail newspaper as Chief of Staff and senior journalist, coordinating the newspaper's coverage of the 2007 federal election and 2008 local government elections.
